Boulder River 7/31/17

The floating season has ended on the Boulder, but the wade fishing is great.  Stop in the shop to find the best access points and fishing spots up the valley.  Fish are eating hoppers with bead head droppers, Stimulators, Yellow Sally dries and a variety of mayflies from early Tricos to mid day PMD’s to an occasional grey Drake.  Caddis are coming of throughout the day, and laying eggs in the evening.  It’s a great time to wade the Boulder.  Also, ask us about our exclusive guided wade trips on the main Boulder in the Gallatin National Forest.
